I would be nice if they told you these aren't drop in locks. Quite a bit of wood has to come out. I don't mind, but I probably wouldn't have ordered one if I knew I had to butcher up my OEM stock.
 
All the woods removal will be inside the lock mortice. I think it can be removed with a Dremel or a 1/4" gouge. I still think they should let you know that the lock isn't a drop in.
