Well, the Palmetto Sharpshooters (N-SSA) shot in a small match and had a ball. Smoothbore and Carbine then break for lunch and then into the musket match. Good times with good friends

This is a modified version of the "pigeon board". Scoring is simple, hit the pigeons, miss the tiles, clocks running and you're shooting offhand with a Civil War musket. Hit tiles are a penalty.

And we set this up as a reminder that many, many Americans died during the War. No other war that America has been involved in had anywhere near the percentage of casualties and destruction as that experienced in the Civil War. One day at Antietam saw more casualties than D-Day.
