I'm looking for some info on a .45 percussion.

Barrels are 33 3/4 inches

PERCUSSION LONG RIFLE MADE BY; HARDER - LOCKHAVEN, PA - TIGER MAPLE STOCK - ALSO MARKED MOORE ON LOCK PLATE - DOUBLE BARREL .45 CAL

The other rifle is signed by Everson on the barrel and the barrel is 37 inches long.

Both guns have curley maple stocks.

Thank you.

AFAIK, your double rifle is very rare, and was made by Jacob Harden - who made guns in Lockport, PA from 1860 to 1888.

He was a gunsmith and maker of high quality bespoke firearms.

During his very short production period of just 28 years, which included the US Civil War, he produced only very small numbers of guns.

Also, he made a few guns for military folks during the US Civil war.

Here's another sample of his work

The other rifle could have been made by Lewis Everson (PA) pre-Civil War, Washington Everson (PA) pre-Civil War, or William Everson (OH) ca. 1850 .

If you make the owner an offer of $700 for both, and get them, you will have made a 200%-300% profit in a New York Minute, given pristine examples.
