I stumbled across this forum during my unsuccessful (so far) search for percussion caps. I built my first muzzle loader from a TC kit when I was 12 with my Grandpa's help. The stock is still the only decent piece of furniture I have ever made. I have inherited more than a dozen antiques and have 6 of my own (replicas) to shoot. It's been a long time since I have messed (pun intended) with black powder. I have a son and nephew who will benefit from learning to shoot and care for these pieces of history.

Hello from Packer country. Keep searching for those caps. I've found both #10 and #11 caps in places where I didn't expect to find them.

Try Graf & Sons (Percussion Caps & Musket Caps - Primers - Powders & Primers - Graf & Sons) - but you have to buy enough to justify the haz-mat fee.

Yes it is cool that way posting where caps found...I must be the true Rural Area Member, Knowing that any caps found are generally 75 miles one way, better for me to make my own..
