Hey everyone. Old fart who inherited a beautiful .40 cal percussion rifle from my Mom.
No papers but the story she had from my stepdad who got it for her was it was made by Wayne Watson (Last of the Mohicans maker). I don’t know if that’s true or not as my Stepdad has passed and we never talked about if before he did. In any case it is a beautiful piece. Don’t know much about traditional muzzle loaders. Shot it twice so far and it’s a pleasure to shoot.
