Hello from lower Michigan

Retired. Don't hunt any more. Spend my time putting holes in defenseless pieces of paper at the range. Been thinking about trying black powder, either a revolver, thinking of an Uberti Navy, or a traditional long gun. Was over the local gun shop today, and he just got in a Thompson Center Hawkin rifle. Lovely. So I'm agonizing over it for $450.00. He says the barrel is perfect so I presume it's used. So I'm checking the forums, reading up on different subjects, and glad to be here!
