Guys,
Sorry if this has been covered but I searched a zillion differnt ways and could not find it. I have a Steel Pineapple Early Hawken patchbox with a flat cam over type spring and I dont know how the spring is to be installed.

I have been searching for two weeks now for any instructions on how this type of spring should mount. Any help would be appreciated and those with a picture would be most welcome. Thanks.

Well, your link has about the best instructions I've seen. The spring fit's under the hinge.
I don't think it was designed to snap the lid all the way open.
