Got this doe on gamelands this evening with my Pedersoli Hawken Hunter. Shot was about 50 yards and she dropped right there.

Good deal, congratulations. To play on Rick Baine's, (Humphrey Bogart), closing line from 1942's Casablanca "This looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship", that is between you and your Pedersoli Hawken Hunter.

Congrats!

I have a Sile Hawken Hunter imported from Italy. I bought it in 1980 and it looks like yours. However, I don't know if Pedersoli made mine.

What make is your receiver sight? Is it an adjustable peep?
