:surrender: Hey guys,i have a Hatfield flinter and having trigger problems.When i pull the set trigger and go to fire it's like pulling 30#,took the lock off and soaked and cleaned it good.It worked for a few shots,now back to very hard pull.Had it to a gun smith,don't think he new what to do on a flintlock.Could a dirty trigger do this?What am i getting into when i take the trigger houseing out?Thanks for ant ideas.Griz
 
Go down 2-3 posts & read Lock Needs Tuning...... and you will find ways to check & see if it is the lock or what.
