haha Im 16 and already have 2 muzzleloaders and working on a 3rd all of mine ive built have a perc hawken from a kit a 19th century flinter and working on a 1600's snaphance fowler and im a volunteer at a museum. Know what you meen by the gun hoarding bug!
 
Nice pix. I would love to have the kind of money necessary to make all my muzzle loading dreams come true, but alas im poor. Oh well I do have a very rewarding job tho.

I understand being too poor to own all of our dream guns. One piece of good advice that I only rarely follow is to always make two of any gun. Even if it is just a kit gun like: http://fcsutler.com/fckitguns.asp You get to immediately apply what you learn from your mistakes, keep the nice one, and still can sell the other to someone lazier than yourself. Just a thought.

Very nice craftsmanship and attention to detail. I have always thought about doing one of these.

I sure would love to find a classic medieval crossbow kit (maybe even with windlass). Got any ideas for that?
