Finally shot my Colonial .54

Had an absolute blast! I'm going to shoot a bunch more to get familiar with it before I decide on a load and fiddle with the sights any. Lock was fast an reliable. Targets represent 50 yards from a rest using 3f Scheutzen, .530 ball, and .17 #40 drill cloth patch.

Thank you my pops came out to see what the rules was, he's never shot a FlinterNick before that I know of. One shot and he had the biggest smile I've seen in a long time.

Those big smiles tend to happen after that first flintlock shot. Seen it myself when letting someone else shoot my guns.
