Anyone know, or know where I can find, the correct procedure for stripping this revolver? I owned a Euroarms version until recently and always struggled when stripping it right down. Now i'm waiting on a pricey Pedersoli version and would like to know how to strip it down properly.

The problem is with the two-piece frame, which is under tension from the main spring, which makes it difficult to remove the two frame screws. I need to find some way to neutralize the spring tension.

Thanks

Brit :thanks:

Remove the grips and push a wooden wedge between the mainspring and the grip strap to relieve tension or half-cock the piece, place a wood block between strap and spring, release the hammer. Remove the hammer screw, hammer, and manspring. I have owned a Ball accurized Euroarms R&S for almost 20 years which I regularly shot in N-SSA competition winning medals up to the national level and it has never been apart other than to remove the cylinder, loading lever/cylinder pin assy., and grips for cleaning. Why would you want to take it apart beyond there? This is way beyond "field stripping".
