I'm not reading all the replies.......polish the 'nick' out and move on. 30-90 days out is the norm for Italian parts 'cross the big pond. Go ahead and order a spring just in case. But polish the nick out and be happy. Every single ML, custom, production, or just simply junk has flaws that you the end user must correct. I own a multi thousand dollar custom built by a recently deceased well known builder. Full of flaws. It is what is.
