Picked up a used Pedersoli flintlock Kentucky pistol last weekend. It's LNIB and if it had 20 shots through it I'd be surprised. The only problem I noticed when I bought it was the trigger pull was atrocious, probably 10+ pounds but sparked great, so I bought it. Fast forward this weekend, put 5 shots through it and each shot felt heavier than the next until shot #6, when the sear spring broke and I had bupkis for a trigger, period.

Two questions for y'all:

1. Anyone have a source for a new sear spring, and
2. Any ideas what was going on?
