Got a Pedersoli pistol and need to know if their dovetails on the barrel is the same as other imported guns.

Most would assume they are metric unless someone modified them, but I have seen both metric and 3/8” dovetails on Pedersolis. If you really need to know if your particular sample has dovetails the same as other imported guns, why not measure them? Then you will know for sure.

Yep measuring them is the only way to tell!
With acceptably accurate dial calipers going for about $20, there is no excuse not to have one. Pretty soon you will find out that there are no interchangeability standards even within a manufacturer.
