I spent my entire career using a bandsaw, a drill press, a 1/4 straight chisel and a #49 rasp. That's about all you really need.
come my friend! that is like telling me i only need one each, a .45, a .50, a .54, and a .60!
i am an inveterate tool-a-holic. need never enters into it. i will buy a tool at a yard sale, no idea what it's purpose is, and then find out what its for. no earthly need for it, but it looked cool.
therefore i have as many barrels with different calibers as possible.



but you are spot on after all. i only use about 4-6 tools in a build. the extra 2 tools are spoke shaves. straight and radius.
