To All
I am using a .36 caliber Guns of the West paper cartridge roller/maker thing and bullets from a Eras Gone .36 Colt mould.
Everything is working pretty well until I put the bullet in the charged paper case and I am having quite the time getting my old fat fingers to get the bullet to start in the paper without it folding over.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to make this easier for old shaky fingers, I no longer have young ones at home that I can bribe or extort so its down to me.

Any help much appreciated.

I wrapped a small collar of tape around the top .100" of my forming mandrel to help stop the cartridge from collapsing when the bullet is inserted. Cartridges are sure more fun to make now! The other thing that makes them easier to make is use a small brush and "water-glass" instead of a glue stick.

I find this also to be a major problem:confused:. I find that if I leave the paper cone long I can drop the bullet in but the bullet does not sit straight in the paper cartridge all the time -- still trying to figure it out as you are also.:dunno:
