Im not sure if this the type of thing that can be posted here but I thought it was pretty cool. The family and I were there last week.
The Grand hotel in Point Clear, Ala. (close to Mobile and on the bay) has some Civil war history as it was used as a Confederate hospital during the war. They shoot it everyday at 4pm. I've been to the hotel a few times and never miss it.
Its a replica of an 1841 six pounder. They use a blank charge of half pound of black powder.
