This fine flintlock pistol was brought home by a veteran returning from Afghanistan. It appears be Napoleonic period . It has all matching markings and is in fine shape. Can anyone identify it? It appears to be smoothebore, and un-fired (no frizzen marks.) Appears to be about .60.

Yer post be a miss'in sumthin...

Possible. It is very clean, the lock is great, the barrel is in good shape, the stock appears to be original, all markings match, and there are proof marks.

Might be an Indian made copy that made its way up there. An old copy, not a recent made one. I think these were carried around more as a badge of rank that actually used.
