Browning .54 Mountain Rifle

Can any one give me some information on my Browning .54 cal mountain rifle? I have been shooting it for a long time now and love it. I just can't find any information any where.

Texas Red they are extremely nice looking rifles and sell at quite a premium i have seen unfired ones sell for eight hundred bucks I dont know when they were last made but will look into it and forward any info to you weasel

Thanks Weasel! It is extremely nice and very accurate and consistant. I can definitely say that this one has been fired. Many, many times. It is my favorite to take to the range. I'm looking forward to any information you can find.

The Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle was first manufactured in 1977 with a Centennial edition of being introduced in 1978 (the company's Centennial year).

I can't find when it was discontinued.

There are some for sale on the Net for between $500 - $800.
