it's harvest time for my broccoli and also time to cook up some greens
never ate them before last year but are one of our favorites now.

they are one high volume leaf with a hint of kale for taste. i only take a small amount of leaf off a plant after harvesting the head of the broccoli because they form small heads all the way to January if the winter is mild. if there is going to be a hard freeze i harvest all the good leaves.
