How do you install these? Most of em I've seen are threaded on the end. Do you just screw it into your poweder horn nozzle?

Powder flask are threaded to accept the spouts, they just screw in, this make them interchangeable in size...

You could also choose to install a valve, then the spouts will thread into the valve, not the horn itself...

These and more can be found at muzzleloading suppliers, I found these at Thunder Ridge...

in spite of MM's usual clarity, I had to read his answer twice...if used with a horn, a bushing is fitted to the horn and then the valve/spout combo is screwed in...Hank (I use that 17th century product called crazy glue to fit the bushing)

I drilled the hole 1/2 inch deep with a 3/8 inch

drill bit. Then mixed up some 5 minute epoxy glue

and the valve is rock solid. Probaly a bummer

if you ever want to change it, but I dont know

how long the threads in the horn would last if it

was tapped? To put the bushing in you need to

drill a real big hole, which means cutting the

horn way back up the tip. I thought that would

make it look to funky.

Just my opinion
