Could use some info on powders. There's two things I am interested in. This first I think doesn't really matter much but I'll put the thought up -
2F vs 3F -- marketers suggest 3F for miller cal. like 45 and under. Then 2F for 50 and up. I started with 2F in the 70's and went to 3F cause 2F leaved a ring near the plug. Seems 3F burns cleaner. Now I shoot 50 and 54 and still using 3F. I wonder if this is a user preference based on individual results.
Second on Powder -- Always have used Goex. And like Graffs as a vendor. My 480's got here much faster than expected.
I have read here of others who use Old Eyesnford (sp) and am curious to learn more about how other members like it.
My shooting is practice and hunting. Modest loads of 60-70 gr. in 50 and 54.
Thanks for your input.
