I've had Colt clones from Richland Arms, CVA, ASM, Pietta, Uberti, etc. etc. Not long ago I got an ASM '60 Colt Army in a trade that has the sloppiest wedge fit I've ever seen. Brand new Pietta and Uberti wedges did no good at all. And then just the other day I stumbled across a website selling barrel wedges specifically for Armi San Marco. Can't say I've ever seen that before. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I bought my first Colt clone back in the early 70's but this is new to me. I'm very curious as to others' experiences.

If anyone has noticed this topic and is curious about it, it does indeed make one heckuva difference. The wedge I ordered specifically for the ASM works like a charm. The fit is perfect and makes it almost feel like a new revolver.

Almost 50 years shooting smoke-wagons and more and I just learned something new

It'll be great until that one gets beat up too !!! Lol

Fix the short arbor and it'll never be a problem again!!

Possibly. Of course it would have been nice to know about this before hand. In any case the wedge is different enough in dimensions from the Pietta & Uberti's that I don't feel the $12 was wasted money. And if I live long enough to shoot this one loose I'll consider that one heckuva plus.

Not "possibly" so . . . Awesome! There ya go!!
