I posted an earlier thought on making a patchbox. (Dec 5, Making the knuckles of PB hinge out of tubing) Thoughts don't always work out, but here is my finshed patchbox. I knew ahead of starting fabrication that a steel 1/16" pivot would end up getting soldered to the work, so I used aluminum to solder and then replaced the aluminum with steel for a finshed PB.

PS. The solder you see will be against the inside, sidewall of the PB cavity if you didn't know.
