Some of you may remember the last project I did with Hern Iron Works. It was how a cannon barrel is made. It can be seen here.

You might also remember the wooden "Come And Take It" cannon I made. It can be seen here.

I have teamed up with Jack Hern once again to make a "Come And Take It" cannon for his line.
I have started the process and the pattern is in his hands. I believe when he cast the first of these, he will send me some pictures. If he does, I will follow up here and post them.
I will be getting one of the first barrels off the line at the foundry.

Here are some pictures so far.

I don't know how long it will take for him to cast the first of he barrels. He has had the pattern for about a month now.
The barrel is 21.5" long and has a 1.25" bore. Details are just like the one in the museum in Gonzales, Texas.
