Thank for the prompting Polecat Tom. A little progress has been made. I’m struggling with how to best install the plug vs what looks best. I also can’t install the plug until I decide on the beak/spout design and finish that. I have cut a plug that mounts just below the “belly” surface, it has complex angles and shape and was a %#$&# to carve. I could then round over the horn edges to meet it flush. I’m still undecided. Other option it to mount the plug above the surface and use to create a larger, more protruding “belly” profile. I also purchased a strap from a fellow club member that I want to install with some small swivels. That’s where it’s at for now. My head hurts just thinking about it.
