Needing to sell off a few items.
So up for sale is this practically new 1858 Pietta 44 cal. 8" barrel.
It has had at most a hundred rounds or so fired through it.
Date code is CU - (2019)
The original cylinder is fitted with a set of SLIX nipples.
The gun will come with a spare cylinder. The spare cylinder is not a Pietta and the actual manufacturer is unknown to me. It works just fine though.
The spare cylinder is fitted with the nipples I took out of the original cylinder.
Gun will come in the original box from Cabelas and will be shipped fully insured via USPS.

I am interested. I have a .36 1861 Pietta but would like to have the larger caliber, also, the cylinder on my gun is a pain to remove. Have to tap out a wedge and remove the barrel from the frame first. Is this gun of yours the type in which the cylinder is easy to remove and swap?

With a little practice the cylinder can be swapped out in less that 6 seconds.
Drop the lever, withdraw the arbor (it's captive so you won't lose it., Cock slightly and the cylinder will roll out the side.
