I can't help you with the Canadian company, but I have second-hand experience shooting a modern replication made here in UK by Peter Dyson. It took over four years to get into the hands of the owner, and cost him a truly enormous amount of money - around 3/4 the price of a real item. He actually shoots it with the ball wrapped in fine chamois leather, as per the original, and he manages to keep all his shots inside a six inch target at 50m. This is more down to his severe rheumatoid arthritis than any inaccuracy in the rifle itself, which is a stunning artifact in all respects.
I'm betting that it is actually made from a set of parts provided at a very slow pace by TOTW in the US of A, but Mr Dyson is not going to say that.
If you look at our Rob - Youtube britishmuzzleloaders - he will explain how he significantly upgraded his Indian-made replica to the fine working piece it now is.
