Is T/C or CVA still making traditional rifles?

Several of the distributors had T/C Hawkins listed in their fall 2012 catalogs... but when they were gone, they're gone. :shake:

    Lyman Deerstalker

Thanks all for the replies. I'll probably spring for it but I do have one question, what is the approximate weight of this rig? Surely it must be lighter than my T/C Hawken flint...

    Lyman Deerstalker

I've been offered a .50 Lyman Deerstalker flintlock from a buddy. It has only been fired 10 times then cleaned & put in the safe... I must confess that I don't know much about them. What is the general consensus regarding the quality?

Convert a CVA Caplock to Flint?

Thanks for all the advise & suggestions guys. I have two .32 squirrel rifles, one is cherry the other is well...a little rough but serviceable. Maybe I'll just keep an eye out for a .32 or .36 flinter instead. I wonder if it would be more economical to try to build one from scratch vs...

Leaving a powder and bullet charge in the barrel

I fire after every hunt (but I hunt in my backyard). I took in a T/C grayhawk on trade a few months back. I checked it with the ramrod & sure enough someone rammed a maxi-ball home and it sat for who knows how long... Pulled the nipple only to find rust & what was once powder... Its still in...
