Hehe, couldn't resist the DWW reference.
So, I took the VZ-24 I don't shoot anymore down to a local gun store yesterday, and they took it in trade. For this:
I will admit, I still like the look of the Navy better (the barrel, obviously), but Capper's right, they sure feel a lot better with the NOTICEABLY larger grip (live it up, Capper!!!). It's an Armi, and doesn't appear to have been fired much, if at all. The cylinder notches have been beaten to death with frequent cycling, but a little mic-ing and filing will soon fix that.
I handled a ROA at the store, and if you're reading this E. Texas, you'll be MUCH happier with the '60. Just while gripping the ROA, the back of the TG was pushing uncomfortably right on my bird knuckle. I could definitely see hanging it up within one cylinder. Heck E-Tex, if it were me, I'd put yours up in the classifieds like yesterday, and grab a '60.
Hopefully, I'll have time to run some lead tomorrow!!
Oh, were they all made to be fitted with a shoulder stock? The additional screws freaked me out until it dawned on me what they were for.
