Any surrounding towns within an hour or so that are worth visiting?
[/QUOTE]Google St. Francisville La. If you like Old Plantations. I haven't been to La in years but I think it's close.

The USS Kidd in Baton Rouge, there also Laura plantation and St. Joseph plantation near by. I think they film a TV show at St. Joseph. Across the lake in Ponchatula is a nice walking city with a lot of antique shops and home to the Strawberry fest in April. I ask the wife for help when she gets home for more ideas.

Everytime someone answers you you're post is driven the top, pushing newer introductions down the list, where they're not seen by as many.
The intent is to allow all new members an equal opportunity to say hello and get welcomed.
