Okay guys, I've posted this in the squirrel hunting thread but I thought I would post it here as well. I have a new book out titled "Squirrel Hunting-The Traditional Way". This is a self-written, self-published book. I wrote this book primarily for friends, family and muzzleloader enthusiasts, especially for members of this forum. There's 93 pages of information plus colored pictures. This is not a money-making ordeal. I'll be lucky if I can break even. The book sells for $22.00 plus $5.00 shipping. If it costs more to ship than that, I'll cover it.

I have limited numbers of this first batch that just arrived.

If anyone is interested in one, please contact me via PM.

Good on you, Ed! Lots of people think they ought to “write a book,” and maybe a lot of them should, but I doubt if one in a thousand pushes through to completion. My hat’s off to you, brother!

I’ve seen hunting books, and specialty books about hunting turkeys, hogs, and deer, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one dedicated to squirrels. Your book not only fills a void, but it looks to be very well done. 👍🏻

A neighbor of mine grows pecans for sale. He has a relatively small grove, maybe eight acres, but he works it hard. Squirrels cleaned him out this past fall. He didn’t even recover enough nuts to sell. In his free time, he was out there with a shotgun. He told me he killed 120 over the course of the season, and they still kept coming. I told him to let me know next year and I would help him out with my Jackie Brown fowling piece. Too many neighbors for shooting rifles at squirrels.

Best regards,

Notchy Bob

Almost forgot, Bob. It sounds like you found yourself a squirrel hunting paradise around those pecan trees. I hope you clean up on them this year.

Since you are offering it for sale, it was moved to the classifieds
It has your name on the cover, so no need for the card or piece of paper..

Received @ETipp 's book this morning. Finished reading it a short while ago. I'm very impressed with it, it's well written and entertaining. Now those of us, like ETipp, that have hunted squirrels for decades may or may not learn anything new, but for new hunters or hunters new to muzzleloaders I believe the book is a must have. And again, I enjoyed every page and highly recommend it.
