Very nice!
What unit were you hunting?

Good shot with a nice rifle. Did you find the ball against the hide on the offside?

That is indeed a very nice goat. I wish he had grown some long hooks to go with the rest of his rack,

Did you measure him? If so, what was the score?
I was hunting in unit 95 this year. Antelope numbers seemed down as compared to years past but there were still enough to chase around. The ball was just under the hide on the off-side shoulder. It’s the first one that I’ve recovered that didn’t pass completely through. I haven’t measured him yet. I dropped the head off for a European style mount and should have him back home in a few days.

Thank you everyone for the kind posts and comments!

Congrats but you need a high velocity cartridge with trajectory compensating scope for antelope. In reality those things do make it a lot easier but not nearly as rewarding as this. Nice antelope and rifle. I'm working on building a Leman so maybe this year a try for antelope also.
