Just got thru building a portable shooter bench. Now I can shoot anywhere that doesn't have one.
It goes well with my home made target stand.
Got about $40 bucks in the shooters bench.

I made this years ago for centerfire but now use it for MLs. It is light, inexpensive and much sturdier than it looks. I had no trouble firing sub moa groups from it.

They both look good to me! Our range has a cement bench but I have considered building a portable to use in other places!

I saw a shooting bench using a Black and Decker work mate. Good idea.
Hanshi....How are the legs attached to your shooting top? I noticed that they appeared to be wood.

While not exactly portable, this was the bench I made for the range...

The legs have a bolt in the top end that screws into angled leg braces. Simple, cheap and very serviceable. It also has fixtures underneath that accepts a lightweight brass catcher. It goes on and off in under 10 seconds. The catcher is for any kind of auto loading pistol or rifle.

Good bench.
However, me to always be the one picking on things. That plastic rest would not be legal for NMLRA matches. Might be fine for zeroing or suppository matches though.
I won't post a pic of my shooting bench. Don't want guys getting ill or sore ribs from laughing too hard.

I like that. Will you make me one for free and send it to me?

What is the guacamole for under the rifle?

O wait, it is in the planter, now I see
:)
Very nice contraption!

Measure group sizes?? :idunno:

I have a word document for a nice take-apart shooting bench from plywood but don't know how to post it.
