I used a knife to the antlers and more than a slip, cleaning worries me.

I like to cut the antler off a skull, it gives you a lot more crown to work with if you want to carve something. I usually do an initial but have down hearts, crosses, faces etc. The outside of this initial would be right against the brain. You can see that this antler is very knobby, might poke holes in your hand but wont slip.
