    We don't have a muzzleloader season so its bow in early sept and general season after that.I get lots of looks just because very few have seen a flintlock most use inlines if they want a challenge.I have been using a muzzleloader only for at least 5 years now.

    Well I started weighing some of the round balls I made and found anywhere from 1 to 3 gr difference I also would like to achieve at max 6 in group from what I have seen so far 50 gr is deadly accurate but for 50 yrds and 100 seems to be better at 100 as soon as i started going more my groups...

    So what does everyone get for average groups at 100 yrds.Im using a rest and at my 100 yrds I can get them in a 6 inch circle. Im shooting a rifled .62 cal flintlock 100 gr 3f and roundballs that I made.

    I should also say i do try to shoot off hand and i believe if a person used a rest you could get way better groups at 50 yrds or further.My 25 yrd group is using a rest.

    I was told to store bp for long periods that to put it in a deep freezer.It would also prevent on exploding in a deep freezer in the event of a fire.Has anyone heard or storing this way?I would think that when you take powder out to go shooting that it would be clumpy with moisture.

    My .54 renegade shoots the best with hornady great plains conicals as well as when i had my .50 hawken.I found that the t/c maxiballs and maxihunter didn't shoot as good as the hornadys.
