    T/C Hawken .50 1:48" Twist Range Report

Congrats! I have the same rifle in .54. At 50m it is really a close hole to hole shooter, at 100m I was able to get 5 shots at 80mm/3.2". I use .525 RB, lubed patch .010", wad and 90 grs WANO PP. Regards Kirrmeister

    TC .54 Hawkens Minies Accuracy

I have a T/C Hawken .54, but never used Minies. I think PRB a fully enough for both hunting and target practice. I guess that the T/C will Minies or other conicals shoot well because of its medium ROT of 1 in 48". Regards Kirrmeister

    Ballistics of ML hunting rifle!

@ roundball: Nothing was mentioned about the brand of bp and granulation. You are all right. The stout charge is a kind of german energy fanatism we have here. Many hunters and the gouvernment thinks many energy helps many. I guess like others that a RB with a lower charge, like 90 grs, would...

Hello from Germany! In the latest issue of the german gun magazine "Visier" there was a ballistic test of a .54 custom Haken, made by german builder Helmut Mohr. They were shooting at 50 meters with a 230 grs .535 PRB and 150 grs bp at a ballistic soap block. The result was outstanding. The...
