Howdy from Central Texas. I've handled BP arms for a few years, but I consider myself still new at the hobby. I started with an 1851 Navy revolver (36cal) and a Zuave rifle (1970s era), and added a Walker and a Richmond. I am here because of a recently acquired a Hawkin's style 50cal. I found this forum while looking around for information about it.

Welcome, great to meet you. Just ask any questions you might have after reading the archives.

Welcome to the MLF ! There are lots of friendly knowlegable folks here in camp with a lifetime of experience to share. Pull up a stump and join us at the fire.

Thanks. Most of my questions would probably be technical stuff for certain models. Stuff like powder charges and loads for me new (new to me) Hawkins type. My shooting is more along the recreational variety, but my Zuave has put some meat on the grill a few times.

Welcome! Sounds like all your guns have a place here. Join in and post some pix while you're at it!
