Not too sure what you are referring to in a TC, CVA made a rifle called the Big Bore Mountain Rifle
back somewhere around the late 70's early 80's looked alot like their mountain rifle except no patch box and a little heavier barrel

Does anyone know for sure what years T/C made the Big Boar?
For 4-5 years, early to mid '90s, .58cal x 1:48" only

I picked up my BigBoar new in the box, back in 1996. It was in the bargain rack of a local gun store in SLC Utah. My buddy and I bought the last 2 BigBoars in the pile. I still have the box with the original price tag. Back then we were both starving graduate students, and $169 was big bucks!!

He has never fired his BigBoar and it hangs in his office. After seeing this post tonight, I called him and we had a nice laugh. The BigBoar was one of the only things his ex wife didn't grab during their divorce.
