took a little woods walk today.
Got some squirrel and rabbit meat.

Photographed my favourite summer visitor, nothing to look at but his song is sweet.

A walk through the woods, unhurried with no particular game in mind and the enjoyment of nature is beyond explanation. I pity those who never do it or do not want to do it; they are basically missing out on life and nature's bounty.

Excellent shooting. It is still spring wild turkey season here in the northeast. Small game such as the gray squirrel will not open up until September and rabbit doesn't open until mid October.

I noticed you're wearing a jacket. It must be chilly. Last Wednesday when I went turkey hunting it was 37 F at 4 AM and went up to around 65 F around noon time or so.

Wow! You never cease to amaze me Brits, excellent pictures of supper and Tia. That is an interesting tree the warbler is sitting in, I don't recognize the red berries, what is it? Tia makes a nice contrast to the pretty Spring wildflowers.......Robin
