I'm a 52 year old deer hunter from Oshkosh,WI. I've lived here all my life and don't think I'd have it any other way. Plenty of deer, turkey, grouse, rabbits, coyote, squirrels, and black bear to hunt right here.
I've been shooting a Traditions Hawken 50 cal. for 4 years or more and have taken 4 whitetails with it so far. Just purchased a Cabelas Rolling Block 50 cal.which is made by D.Pederzoli and it's a fine looking gun. Hope to take my next whitetail with it. I'm a convert I believe. Don't think my ole 30-30 or 30-06 will make er out in the woods again for deer huntin. Might have to sell them and buy another smoke pole.

Welcome to the MLF glad to have you on

rolling blocks are great looking guns for sure.
