Two weeks ago this was a well organized work bench but after several gun projects and accessory projects it is total chaos.
I blame it on gremlins but I gaurentee they won't clean it up.😉
Looks like my bench. I organize and clean up when it is time to do some reloading or build another Kibler. 😄

I have mice, and I from what I've seen I've one that is a different species than the ones that I do catch, for some reason he avoids the bucket trap and mouse traps that I've set while others fall prey to my schemes.... makes me wonder WHAT mice remain.... these two would explain my bench... so with me it isn't gremlins...

I'm a retired contractor, when I was working there where many times that I had the great wall in my shop and the only way to access what you needed was to use the people door of the house or go out and through the overhead, I'd take a weekend and clean it up and 2 jobs later it would be back with a vengeance, finally sold off most of the materials and tools that I'll NEVER use again and moved, now my humble little shop is half of a 40 foot sea going container, it's all I need so stuff has to be put back daily or else She Who Must Be Obeyed can get through it and get to her stuff!

I have a cardboard box stored under the bench , and all the detritis I have just dropped on top of the bench , excluding tools , goes in the box. If I need something I remember I'd thrown in the box , it's easy to find , so when I'm done with it , back into the detritis box. Once a yr. , I might clean the box out. Yea.....right Tools I can't find , are called "escapees" , and first place to examine is "the box".

Yes sometimes my hole shop looks like that.
