Anybody who makes their own one-off tools to do a special job gets my seal of approval. :thumb:
I tell ya, I don't want to mess things up, but at the same time, I want to get things done. Im a pipe liner in the oilfield, and a heavy equipment operator, with machinest background.
And I ride Harleys, and do mine own maintenance, so I fix it

You sound like me. Ha ha. I did a bit more work on the 8 g stock , from an odd bit of walnut, a £120 auction win, un repairable smashed up stock 1830. Bore not bad and lock worth £200 I just did a bit of titivation and had to add a bit of epoxy to the barrel slid pin , got that bit wrong. Yes I make tools and jigs for everything , Yes what else to do in this cold wet green and pleasant land , take care , wonderful forum,

Went to the hardware store and picked up some components to make a barrel flushing attachment for a CVA Kentucky. I know many clean without these but many years of cleaning hooked breech rifles in a bucket have trained me.

So here's the stuff. I'll report back on results!! :dunno:
