whispering sweet nothings in a girls ear always worked for me! haven't tried it on a girl moose though. just hope when I try it that it is a GIRL MOOSE and not a BULL MOOSE??? he might not like the pulling, no matter what you whisper in his ear???

I mix water, dish soap, and some TC bore cleaner together. Usually shoot 35 to 40 shots without swabbing with a .45.

Ballistol - Water 1:7 mix works, so I use it on my patches... soak the pillow ticking, let dry cut and use.
While I use a Water Soluble Oil (WSO), I use the same ratio of one part WSO to 7 parts of water and use that as patch lube to dampen my patch before loading. I see little difference between a 1 to 4 mix or the 1 to 7.
