:idunno: Thx for harty welcome, y'all! This is my 1st post concerning my dueling pistol, which I think may have come thru A. W. Spies. That should be on the lock plate - but I can't quite make it out. "New York" is engraved on the top barrel flat. There are two proof marks concealed on the bottom flat, along with numbers "51". At least one of the proof marks may be a crude Birmingham punch. (?) I plan to show, tell, and ask more about the piece later. But, for now, may I get
