The Keys on all my British guns ( Flint thru' to CBL's and even 2 early Unmentionables') go Left to Right. I follow that on my own Replicas.. O.D..

If I'm shooting quick (on a hunt), the front wedge goes left to right (that's where my palm rides) if I'm shooting on the range or "wall hanging" they both go from the right.
