Watched the 5 Round Speed Shooting Challenge today....

Visited the NMLRA grounds in Friendship Indiana this afternoon to watch the 5 Round Speed Shooting Challenge despite the lousy rainy weather.
Several members managed to get in a little action spanking ol' British Billy.
I'll be back in 3 weeks for the next video.

When I first read the title I thought that this was going to be a dumb video but I watched it anyway. Well - first off I'm not into any kind of speed shooting - BP or modern so I'm not too thrilled with this video. I did find it "interesting" to say the least. I'm glad no one got hurt during the "challenge" except for Billy and found the overall experience somewhat entraining. I like his videos.

This was standard British tactics ( in their manuals ) to load the Brown Bess arms.

Someone needs to produce a B27 size "British Billy" paper target, then you could staple them shoulder to shoulder for firing line volley fire, or single target long range work; all kinds of fun.
