Just wanted to show the pictures of my latest project, a wall hanging. My cousin saw one of my previous horns and wanted to know if I would make one for him to hang on his wall (he is a paper cartridge-type shooter, so a horn is not something he will use). I said I wouldn't take money for it, but would take something in exchange that he had made. I thought the horn would look a little bare by itself, so I surprised him with a possibles bag.

This is the front side with two wolves. You can also see some Celtic knots around the butt end (not done very well), with a Celtic toast "May the road rise to meet you" barely visible. Those are dyed cock feathers, an turned/applied tip and butt/plug from madrone and the tip plug is carved spalted alder. The strap has two Celtic conchs on it.

This is the backside with a spread eagle.

This is the surprise possibles bag, with a wolf claw (synthetic) to go along with the wolf theme, inkle woven straps with deer antler rounds.

Keep in mind it is for hanging on the wall, so I added a little more glitz to it.
:v :v :v

I'm sure your cousin will be very pleased (and surprised) with your work. If not, just send it up this way and I'll put it to good use! :) :rotf:
