I dovetail them AND solder them in place! Them suckers ain't comin' out!

200 years of wood shrinkage WILL pull tenons out of their dovetails!!! Not that I'm worried about my guns 200 years from now...

Under normal circumstances, the barrel NEVER has to be removed from the stock. ;)
